Description
Flores is an archipelago in the eastern part of Indonesia. It is split into eight governments districts. The majority of the coffee is coming from the Manggari and Ngada Regency. The Bajawa region in Flores is a small town in the highlands. Its coffee yield is not as high as in Sumatra which explains the difference in price compared to others. With a recent focus on quality and assistance from international aid groups, Flores is beginning to create a name for itself in specialty coffee circles. The entire Flores Bajawa coffee is produced organically – without any chemicals.
By buying Flores Bajawa coffee, you will support the “Social Responsibility” project which is part of the Flores Island “Kids Project”. Every purchased kilogram if green coffee benefits these children. For example Rehms recent donation was used to build a new floor at the local school.
